PUNIC WAR
15mm Campaign Theme Event
Roman and Carthage battle for supremacy, as Hannibal and
his polyglot army takes on the might of Rome in a campaign
that ranges from Spain through Gaul into Italy and North
Africa. This special theme tournament uses campaign-style
map movement to generate battle match-ups (four rounds).
Players elect to be on one of three sides: Carthage,
Rome, or Everyone Else. Strategic rules will be an
expansion of those used for the Peloponnesian War Campaign
Theme at Fall In, with the addition of simple Supply rules
that come into play when a superpower army (Rome/Carthage)
is defeated, and a couple of special rules (Carthaginian
Elephants lost in battle can only be replaced if the army is
campaigning in Africa, for example)
Eligible armies are:
-
II/32 Later Carthage (up to 4 players)
-
II/33 Polybian Roman (up to 4 players)
-
II/8 Campanian, Apulian, Lucanian, or Bruttian (up to
one of each)
-
II/9 Syracusan (one player)
-
II/11 Gallic (up to 3 players)
-
II/39 Ancient Spanish (all three versions, no Bd option
for Lusitanian) (up to 4 players)
-
II/40 Numidian (up to 2 players)
Some loaners available.
Gamemasters: David Kuijt and David Schlanger. |
|
11:00 p.m. until exhaustion sets in. |

Wings of War WWI aerial combat in miniature. Bring
